hows the Tt ducting mod?
hmm well i found it for only 10 bucks and im pretty sure itll work wit my volcano 7+
anyone use this ducting mod or tell me if its any good? http://www.thermaltake.com/accessories/DuctingMod.htm im currently using a thermaltake volcano 7+ |

My bro bought a couple of those from a local retailer for our Volcano 7+'s. It turned out that they were for the regular Volcano 7 and were too small for our 7+'s. The bolt holes didn't match up. Be careful that they ARE for the 7+ before you get them.

yea i think it is only for 7 not 7+ ill check that but anyone else try it or know if its possible witha 7+

I have a TT9 and it looked great installed, it did not quiet it down much but it did cool better, i had to remove my side case fan to make it fit. I ran it that way for a few days then removed it and reinstalled my side case fan, i liked the idea off cool air from the outside blowing directly onto the CPU cooling fan, like cold air induction on a car better than the duct mod

lol well neon if i was that good with my hands i would, im just a kid but im really wanting to learn that stuff haha. i rebuilt this comp cause the mobo was messed otherwise i dont do any modding too risky

For a 70mm solution try one of the coolermaster aero blower fans, the same type you've probably seen on the aero 7+.
I've had one strapped to my athlon 64 hsf and it does make a difference. |

I used to use it...quiets down the fan a little. Doesnt work with my SLK900A now...however...it DOES work with the AX-7 from thermalright. Get it for $5 from hardwarecooling.com Brian
