My bro bought a couple of those from a local retailer for our Volcano 7+'s. It turned out that they were for the regular Volcano 7 and were too small for our 7+'s. The bolt holes didn't match up. Be careful that they ARE for the 7+ before you get them.

I have a TT9 and it looked great installed, it did not quiet it down much but it did cool better, i had to remove my side case fan to make it fit. I ran it that way for a few days then removed it and reinstalled my side case fan, i liked the idea off cool air from the outside blowing directly onto the CPU cooling fan, like cold air induction on a car better than the duct mod

I believe that the 7+ uses a 70mm fan not an 80mm fan, so the answer is no, it won’t work on a 7+.

For a 70mm solution try one of the coolermaster aero blower fans, the same type you've probably seen on the aero 7+.

I've had one strapped to my athlon 64 hsf and it does make a difference.

I used to use it...quiets down the fan a little. Doesnt work with my SLK900A now...however...it DOES work with the AX-7 from thermalright. Get it for $5 from hardwarecooling.com Brian

now get some like 3" dryer / heater hose the stuff that bends real good and run a duct from a intake point like a blow hole or the back of your case and attact the end to a fan mountind on your case blowing in so you cpu will be getting outside case air thats much cooler plus the air will me in motion allowing for better cooling

thx for the the idea, i might try it sometime if i get time. just have so much schoolwork and been sick. i lost my news posting privelages since i dont find time to look for stuff to post as much (cept saturday afternoons if im not working out). friday im out wit my boiz haha. but maybe ill try that. my cpu is damn hot though i have no idea, i think its just p4 "b" 's. at idle its 48 degrees celcius (118 farenheit) later it goes upto about 65 degrees celciius if its working. i have no idea why if i reapply the thermalpaste and completely clear out all the dust it stays at 43 degrees celcius for a few days. i always thought p4s ran at about 35-40 and working maybe 55-60. but dyre showed me piece of info from intel's site im assuming its correct showing the same temps as mine? im not sure. but the Tt volcano 7+ only dropped my temp 4 degrees from the stock intel cooling
