Default Post Dumbest Mod Ever

This is the dumbest shit I've seen in a while. This dude didn't like onboard video so he... well, you can see what he did. He should've done some research. AOpen sells a lot of stuff in Japan, where LowProfile-PCI is pretty popular. All he had to do was look for a LowProfile AOpen GF2MX.

I can understand somebody being dumb enough to mod something this horribly, but what's even funnier than what he did is the fact that he posted it on the net to show it off

Default Post I think I will try that too.................NOT!

I have butchered alot of cases with blow holes and windows, but nothing that even compared to the overall ugliness he has going on there...lol. I bet he has a whole circle of wannabe friends that come over and ooohhh, ahhhhh at his mastery of the dremel.

Default Post Your probably right Zardon...lol

I bet his case temperature dropped by a good bit with that hole he hacked in the side of it. Looks like he did it with a butter knife and a pair of tin snips...lol. Maybe if he double side taped a CD rack on both sides of the tower and hid the ugliness it wouldn't be so bad, but I guess he was determined that Xtasy video card was going to fit no matter what. I noticed that looks like a gateway? I bet he bought the card from the Gateway store after they told him it would fit and work perfectly in his machine. They are pretty good at that.

You've got eagle eyes, Desert_Siege. It is indeed a PCI Xtasy, and that is indeed a Gateway.

I am impressed.

Hey when you want a better video card and don't want to fuck around with a "pretty" mod on a worthless case....why not?

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I mean he solved the problem on the cheap and it obviously works by the picture on the monitor. I say well done to him !!
