when you say stock... does that mean you can replace like the heatsink on the vcard or anything? It seems vague when it comes to the vcard

Roadee, I'd agree!!! That's really high scores for an air cooled PC...

I could hit 3.83 on my p4 3.0 on air. I dont think I pushed it as far as I could so it may have made it to 3.9.

The reason that the scores are so high is because he has an XT. Whether or not the machine could bench at that speed is another matter.

Yes you can change the heatsink on the Vid card......must be air cooling on the Stock and Pro Stock classes but NO other mods allowed....and anything you like on the top class. This is an overclocking contest after all

Those with XT's and 9800 pro's and 5950 Ultra's are going to be left behind by those with high end systems and 6800's and XT800 cards. Will be fun to see how this competition will heat up in a couple of months.

Aaaargh - I just hit 22972 in 3DMark 01.

Hit the ORB button to upload the scores, nothing happens. Try to move the mouse and again nothing happens. Then the bloody thing shuts off!

I don't believe it. If I can get this thing to stay stable enough to succesfully bench, the avatar stays mine. (4Ghz) heheheh!

It seems the AS5 has finally settled in properly as I have sen a temp reduction of 4c in the last week. I can now bench(almost) at the magic 4gees. A bit more stable and I may have some solid results.

My ocing attempts are now off until Saturday. The wife has put the heating on and the case temps are up a full 3c. I'll have to wait until the weekend. If I can get any of these tests to run at 269 FSB again I should get some sweet scores.
