Bear in mind guys, this system ive built isnt made for total speed. I could be hitting much higher if I went onto phase (as ive played with in the past and reviewed), but my main gaming rig is engineered for noise levels, its virtually silent with a 19db PSU, modded mobo and zalman reserator and no fans except a 92mm zalman over the chipset - you wouldnt even know it was on unless you put your ear down on the ground next to it. So approached from that angle and seeing low 40c CPU temps with a 700mhz overclock (3.9ghz @ 1.7 volts) on a gallatin cored Extreme edition CPU with almost 30k in 3dmark01se im very pleased indeed with the outcome.
Those scores are good benchmarks to beat but anyone who has vapochill and a highly overclocked cpu with an XT GFX should do it relatively easily - but then again it wont be silent

Thanks much for posting the scores......I am sure that everyone will drool over them
I can't wait to see how long it is going to take someone with an AMD system to beat some of them And to think.......these comments are coming from someone that swears by AMD!!! Though I am starting to open my eye's a bit when it comes to video encoding and such. And I dont enter the competition since I am keeping tabs on things within the competition.....though I could definately earn an avatar!! EDIT:......I pasted your scores in the Fastest Rig entry thread.......below the avatar's for each class.....that way maybe you could update your scores every now and then and we can all see them. This way it will keep them all in one place and will be seen by anyone wanting to enter the competition.

Looking pretty damn good!! What all are you water cooling? CPU/Vid.......or CPU/VID/NB? Kind of hard for me to tell the way you have everything packed in there

O.K. guys I know its packed. It is only a mid-tower. I am cooling the cpu, gpu, and nb. It was a real pain trying to fit the rad.I had to cut out the lower rack. I have two 120's in a push/pull config drawing air in over the rad and all the other fans blowing out. The case temp is only a few degrees above ambient. |

Looks very nice SIK_L_CELL. Reminds me of the Borg from Star Trek for some weird reason
Impressive work getting it all to fit in there. Enjoy the sweet avatar

I can understand you completley I have a cabine car radiator fitted in case (chieftec matrix) larger than yours, with a radiator twice as size, not tomention that radiator goes over ATA connectors on mobo Also had to cut the lower hdd rack and I am still not satisfied, I have managed to find a similar radiator to yours and want to attach it to the top of the case (will have to cut the top) so I could put the other bigger radiator horizontaly and not have to warry about performance...and 2x120mm fans on it.Tell me, you have "FX-53" in your signature and I can see that mobo is NF7-S ??? Dont tell me that you have another rig beside this one ?

question for moderators/admins:
Are there going to be changes related to "Stock" class due to new 500$ vid cards that are breaking that 10k in 3dmark'03 ?! can thoese count as "stock" ?! Doesent make sense having a 6800gt and the resto of components together are worth 200$...OC skills - none

Umm, you do know that his 3dmark 03 score is almost as high as your 3dmark 01, right?
I think those scores are very good imo. |

well to tell you the truth, I have fried my xp2000 !
I had a peltier on it, then WB on peltier to cool it but bouth the watter pump and the peltier are 220V and I have forgoten to turn on the pump (first run with peltier) and I power on bouth the peltier and pump separately from computer/main PSU. What happend is, computer booted, run a minute or two, shutdown, when I was trying to figure out whats wrong, peltier overheated...the rest is up to you to conclude. Now I have a poor Duron600 running, and I am playing a bit with it, remarkable is how this old thingie works on nf2 ultra chipset And was going to make a key ring out of it a day ago...luckilly, I didnt ! Will have another CPU tommorow, but I have this other problem with asus fx5900 and 6x.xx forceware drivers...@SIK L CELL: I was a bit offended yes, but it's ok, no hard fillings now I cant possibly outrun your score because of your x800xt. Borrowing one from someone would be cheating so I will go for it ! Just kiddin' I'll get a barton that my friend is selling, KQZFA, goes 2.6ghz aircooled, will air cool it and run for "stock" class
