Well I've just built my new rig and did extensive benching with my new hardware. I've tried out all current available 4in1 sets and Nvidia drivers 30.82 and 29.80. Some numbers with ddr at 2.85v with 2.5 CAS and 2-6-2-1 timings:
30.82 200x7.5 - 10,523 200x8 - crash (tried it all, just would not run) 29.80 200x7.5 - 10,494 200x8 - 10,763 BUT after insalling xpsp1 build 1089 3dmark would not run at all at 200fsb. Not even with a 7.5 multi. If that means the sp1 for xp will not allow me to run at my desired speed I suppose I'll not be putting it on this gaming rig heh. Just wondered if anyone else had any similiar experiences??? edit - oh yeah the test rig: xp1700 agioa 4 kx7-333 gainward Ti4200 (stock timings) Samsung 256MB CTL pc2700 Maxtor 60GB |

sorry DW not really what I was looking for
I think winXP is an outstanding OS I am just not too sure I'll be applying the sp1 patch to this particular rig running a high fsb. straight winXP handles 200 fine but it's the sp1 that changes something and ruins it for me
