haaah this is so cnfusing,, anyway most of the good cases outthere have 80mm fans from 4to7 of them.

ok narrowed it down to this 2:
Antec High Performance Plus View 1000 AMG Case + Window
http://www.antec.com/ec/pro_details...hp?ProdID=01001

Antec Super Lanboy Aluminium Super Mini Tower Case
http://www.antec.com/ec/pro_details...hp?ProdID=08005

the lanboy looks cool and has 2x120mm fans so it should be quite.
the 1000 AMG has up to 5x80mm fans but comes with only 2x80mm on the back, it looks really good but then again do i whant a case with 80mm fans? this one comes with 2 only and i think maybe the lanboy will do better with its 2x120mm fans, not sure what do you think about this Antec High Performance Plus View 1000 AMG Case? can you help me narrow it down?

TIA , ledzep

Side 80x80x25 mm, 2050rpm, 21dBA
Rear 90x90x25 mm, 1800rpm, 21dBA
Side Door 90x90x25 mm, 1800rpm, 21dBA

unfortunatly thermaltake don't give the cfm for this fans.
how noisy do you think this 4 fan configuration is gonna be?

ledzep.
Don't believe those specs!!!

I'm not using my case fans atm because they are so damn noisy!

my old psu was 32dba.... the fans were as loud as that on half their max rpms.... put the fans up to max and hear them roar!!! bloody awful

I've just bought a replacement case - one which was actually recommended by Zardon earlier in this thread... the Thermaltake Tsunami Dream - will be very quiet with 2x 120mm fans and 1x 92mm which also means good airflow - would be even better if you replaced the thermaltake fans with ys-tech fans

... from those choices in your previous post - I would say DEFINITELY go for the Antex Lanboy - the other one is big and heavy and the lanboy is quite light... I made a mistake when I bought my Thermaltake V1000D - it's sooooo damn heavy!!!

go for 120mm fans over 80mm fans al the way - plus the aesthetics of the lanboy are simply nicer!

The reason the side fans make such a noise - is because the vibrations that they make cause the side fan bay to knock against the side panel/window and quite a high rate - causing extra noise - only really flaw in the design of these cases - other than the sheer weight on the 1000 cases!

thanks tastyweat , you and the other guys really helped me here , your reply really put the last nail in the thermaltake coffin, all those gauges and dials and lights look really nice and seductive on those pics
i wasnt even aware on the noise problem for me all those cool orange 80mm fans looked really nice , well good i came here and annoyed some people about it .
i wish the tsunami dreams was avaliable here but it isnt, and regarding the lanboy beeing small i red a review about it in tom's hw and they specificly said "it was not as small inside as we imagined from the outside."
i have 2 HD's and i don't need more then the 200gb i have so it will be enough in this aspect.
do you think those 2x120mm fans will be enough to keep my sys cool under regular conditions or should i get an extra 90mm or 120mm fan (not sure if there is any room for an extra fan)?
anyway im also getting the new VGA silencer rev.4 when its out so dont think ill have any probs keeping it cool and silent.

thanks again to everyone , ledzep.
