remmber my thread:"amd 2400 vs barton 2500 "
i got a berton 2500+ and oc it to 3200+
the score went down to 28731 from 39203

my specs r:
amd 2500+ @ 11X200=2200
abit a7n REV 2.0
2X256 A DATA PC 3200 DDR CL3
ATI 9800PRO STOCK
VOLCANO 12

down in what? aquamark 3? a change that massive isnt possible unless you are running a few hundred mhz slower with looser ram timings. tb and barton is basically the same core but the barton have 256k more cache.

check ram timings and all other bios settings havent changed. make sure your clock is the same as before and your memory is in sync.

so the score isnt actually down over 1000 points as in your first post but a few hundred right?

easily within the bounds for a slight driver change or IQ setting alteration?

to see CPU changes run sandra or PCmarks.
