this maybe a noob question but i was talking to a guy that runs about the same system as me with a 2.4c overclocked to 3.0ghz on stock cooling, he says he never gets over 55c and that he is very happy with the intel p-4 stock cooler his system is stable for a long time.

what do you think, should i give stock cooling a try on some simple overclock with out volt modding?

tia, ledzep.

hi again
after looking a little more in thermalright web site i saw that all the hsf they have for intel are for p-4 478 socket 3.06ghz and above cpus , could it be that they have no hsf that fits the 2.4c? could anyone confirm this?

TIA , ledzep
