Default Post My first Case mod! 56k Warning

Not great but it's a start! Yes that's my floppy cable up top, I'm kinda short a few mounting brakets, but hey when you pay $27 for a case you expect parts to be missing.

Not bad .....for a piggy bank...lmao

Usually when one starts to mod his case ..he would start with a side window.

But hell man its you case...and i hope you feel good about your extra large
exhaust hole.

Are you going to put a window in your very nicely cut hole or is it just for ventalation. (Looks really good so far)

So your saying that the hole is already covered ??
Well i say you take it out (i hope you didnt use hot glue gun ) and fix all the
edges and maybe find some really thin trim.

I know its hard to really do something good cause you case cover is a 3 sided one(next time pick a cheap box to mod that has separate sides.)

And since you decided to have your drive showing may i suggest some rounded IDE cables.

Oh one more thing: CLEAN UP YOUR ROOM...LOL

HAHA never!
I'm not really concerned about how good it looks at this point. I jsut wanted to cut a hole in this case. My good system shall be up and running once I get a functional CPU, curses newegg! oh well though that story is for a different thread.

That's a good job of cutting you did there, skastel! The only thing I could recommend would be to use some rubber molding around the edges. It's easy and cheap, but it will add a lot to your mod.
