Is it time to Upgrade to a 800 bus

Wuzz Peeps

I have $600 dollars to spend and Im trying to figure out what would be the best part of my system to upgrade first, should i go with a 30 c or e and upgrade my ram to corsair xl 3200 and overclock / or upgrade my ati 9800 pro which has and awsome core and overclocks higher than the 9800xt and get the
x8ooxt pe...
My Rig get very good pcmark results I say the same as the 800 bus processors but with overclocking with and 800 bus can i get alot better

And last I didnt pick and upgrading of a amd64 3500 becuase Im a multitasker and think hyperthreading rules in real world performance when your using music match to play music,divx player to play a movie, and media player to play a second movie and stll have plenty of resources to use emule and explorer at the same time

Hmm I would say what you have as far as MB/CPU is good enough for now.

If was to upgrade your processor I would say 3.0c but the e's do better on the new socket.

Tough question really. I think I'm personally leaning more towards the XTPE.

BTW, what ratio are you running your CPU/Ram at?

For the help, I m figuring with the oc Im doing now Im equaling clock. Im runnignat 4.5 tried a 1.1 same results with this board buts it beats my granite bay by 100 points in pc mark, like tom hardware says they are exactlty the same, my ram timings for pc 2700 ram or 3.3.3.8 and they.re stable is this good not sure becuase of my 875 bandwith , but seeing benchmarks Id have to say cpu wise Im doing good tll a ,3.8 478 northwood upgrade and yes 875 owners its happening intell almost lost it ass pushing our asses into pci express which cant hang with the 875 or by that a 3 year old e7205 granite bay,
Should i just push better ram and see how far i can push the old 3.06 533 bus

For what it's worth.Intel is uping the FSB to 1066 by Q4.Or at least thats what Miximum PC & Toms Hardware says.
