The Radeon 7000, apparently, has varying memory core clocks. I found one site that said the R7000 had a core clock of 183MHz, another that said 140MHz. My only guess, boby, is that you're using outdated or buggy software that is not properly overclocking your card. Either that, or you are only overclocking your core, instead of your memory. Just some suggestions.

The Radeon may be one of those cards, like the voodoo 2 before it, that needed to have it's memory clocked within a certain ratio of it's core. Running out of that spec made voodoo2s and old TNT's run slower.
