Power Supply
Hello. I could change power supply in my PC. I have two choices:
1. Be-Quiet! 400W Blackline Atx1.3 2. NeoTEC V4202 420W No-Noise Series 19dB Which is better for overclocking??

well, the more wattage you have the better and more stable it will be when overclocking. the only problem is, i have never heard about either of those companies...the 420 might be the way you want to go then.

if you have both to compare, the heavier one will generally be a better quality one, but psus have very lenient specs so would go with antec/fortron/sparkle/thermaltake if possible.

dont buy an unknown PSU its the most importante hardware in your pc.
the ones that where mentioned above are all good names also look for enermax, ocz, they are popular in some places.

http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20040122/index.html Toms Hardware tested a 370W be-quiet, lets see how it did.....
http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/2...pplies-07.html - pretty well. http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/2...pplies-20.html - interesting, quiter than the Fortron, yet I always expected that large inside fan approck to be quieter. Not the same model and series, but it would seem that Be-Quiet can make a decent PSU. |

I am shure you can find German "Tagan" there in Poland. Excellent PSU, not expensive either (380W = ~50 euros)
