just connected up my watercooling to my cpu... put everything back together - no vga! grrrr

I'll try another graphics card

what do you mean? I took everything out and put it back - all but the modem - I had to get the motherboard out to attach the mounts for the cpu block

Are you sure something isn't being shorted out some where, and are you 100% positive it's not the ram?

I'm positive it isn't the ram - all the ram works in the other slots... and none of the ram works in that one slot... I can't see anything that would be shorting it out.

you can just about see it - the second slot from the left... little metal bit right near the top of the ram slot... that's what's causing my probs!

It's 3 or the little black holes down from the top of the ram slot... second ram slot from the right... ie the left of the darker blue ones.

this sort of problems happen to me and my friends all the time

Damn dust get's into everything. It just happend to me few days ago, computer just didnt want to boot, it beeped as for graphics card prob. I just pulled out and pulled in the graphic card and everything ok

with ram it happens everytime i change it, you have to shacke thoese slots a bit and then everything works fine

Dust... Yesterday I took out everything and cleaned out, removed dust (so I thought soo) put all together and the wonderfull sound of all the beeps mobo can make

Nothing worked, I spent 2 hours pulling in'n'out all the cards, TV card, G.card, modem, SB....few times, now everything is ok

although it should have been in the first place, that is why I was cleaning the damn thing anyway...
