Any tips and suggestions about AMD Athlon 2600+?

Hi everibody, i'm a "newby" of this forums... i see that there are lots and lots of interesting things... i've a AMD athlon 2600+ processor ... are there any good tips about overclocking or good utilities to improve my processor performances?? tnx

theres probably an overclocking article laying around here somewhere, if not, go ahead and message me or something and ill get one for you.
basically you need a good cooling system. Are you running stock heatsink? or aftermarket?
2600's are decent ocer's, how old is the chip? if its preweek 40 something in 2003, it may be unlocked. ( i think its preweek 40...i may be wrong, someone might wanna correct me)
