Advise on cooling needed????????

I replaced the stock Intel CPU fan & heatsink with a Thermalright XP-120 & a Enermax 120MM fan.My question is will the new fan turn as high of an RPM as the old smaller fan?The reason I'm asking this question is the ASUS Probe alarm is going off.BUT the temp. is running at 30C idle{at 3.6GHZ.Stock was 3.oGHz}The temp. has come way down.Should I kill the alarm????...I hope this makes sence!...Thanks!

120mm fans push a lot more air than 80 and 92mm fans while running at lower rpms so dont worry about the actual rpms as long as you are running cool. I would turn off the alarm or lower the settings so it goes off at a lower rpm so you'll still be warned in case of fan failure or something.
