Problems/Decisions Need help soon

Well guys tonight I'm gonna do one of two things either 1. order a new PSU (still can't decide between Ultra X-Connect 500W or OCZ PowerStream 420W) and another 512 stick of ram (which sucks cuz I'll now have 3 sticks of RAM which limit the OC of my A64 whe nI get it by quite a bit) or 2. A new CPU and new Mobo. Also the RAM would be the cheap Corsair XMS that does 2-3-3-6, CPU would be a A64 3000+ (hopefully I'll snatch a CG which will help with temps and help with the 3 ram stick problem) and the mobo would be the Chaintech VNF-250 (although I really do wanna wait cause the new DFI NF3 board is soooooo sick I've seen 425 HTT on it it's insane). Which do you guys think I should order? Also my PSU seems to be starting to die as it's having trouble with my 5V, but after some researching I've determined that my video card is the main problem with reboots, freezes, and now in the past day or two its made my whole screen go crazy and fill with artifacts. Also, my new PSU can't handle a new vid card at this point nor do I have the money. Either way qestio nis PSU/RAM or CPU/MOBO. Thanks guys

Also, pray that my 9500 holds me off until Thanksgivign or Christmas. Even if doesn't I gotta give the damn things props, 9500NP for $140 softmodded and OCd like a mofo (atleast on the core).

What's the max amount of money you can spend? The only issue I see w/your specs is the 512 MB of total ram; other than that everything else sans the video card looks kosher. I would go for replacing the PSU if it REALLY needs it and try for a newer video card. You can get a 9800 Pro for less than $200 and it's a damn good card.

I already have 512 I'm adding another 512 to make it a gig AS for video card I wouldn't buy a 9800P to replace a softmodded 9500NP which can run @ 9800P clocks. I'm saving up for a x800 pro vivo or a 6800GT. Tongith since I can't spend all of it at once (dad says i gotat keep $500 for isnurance even tho i won't drive ill just use my friends lik i have been). So tonight I can spend about $350
