Higher fsb with lower latency?

I tried a lot of times to overclock my Fsb. But there was no chance to get over 400 Mhz. I tested with default 3-8-3-3 latency. now i`ve set it to 2,5-5-3-3 and it runs great at 410 Mhz. I haven`t tried higher fsb jet. But i thought with lower latency it should get more instabil - not the opposite?

No. the same voltage as before. I have it at 1,75V core and 2,7V memory.
