Just meandering round my local PC component palace earlier on today and when I left the place I found myself with a Sapphire X800XT card...

How the hell did I let that happen?

Oh well, nothing left but to install the waterblock off the 9800xt and let her rip I suppose.

Anyone got any comparable rig scores I should be aiming towards?

with your rig i would think around 12,500-13,000 should be possible in 03, just plonk in the new 8.07 betas.

Nacht, which one do you want, I've got two company credit cards - talk about pushing the boundaries of trust eh?

Anyways, I think I need to be real careful with this card, once the GPU gets past about 535Mhz it flips out big style, my 9800xt seemed a lot more hardy, it never freaked out completely like this x800xt (no artifacts as such it just loses the plot completely and there's no vpu recover kick in).

The ram goes quite well though, to 567Mhz artifact free.

I just need to get my rig wound up to it's previous overclocked levels again and then hopefully I'll get some decent benchies, till then however my games look absolutely glorious.

I agree from above that you should be getting scores around 12500-13000, if you don't mind me asking, what was the price you got that baby for? I'm considering getting one for my secondary rig if the price is right.
