Hey guys.. I'm thinking of removing the stock HSF on my Sapphire 7500 and re-attaching
it with some AS3.. but i'm wondering, will it make much of a difference? I'm trying to up my 7500 as much as it can (because i'll be with it for a long while before I actually upgrade).. Right now, I'm running @ 320/220.. anymore than 320, i get artifacts.. anymore than 220 for the memory, i start getting errors as time goes by.. Also, I'll be cutting up some old heat-sinks to use for my ram.. will it help in any way? thanks.

The short answer:
Yes, probably a little bit. If you want some better results, buy a better HSF for the core and use the AS3.

I've read that the Thermaltake Crystal Orb is the best bank for your buck. I have a BlueOrb on my GF2Pro and I def. like it. The only downside is that you lose a PCI slot with the Orbs.

I would suggest the Vantec IceBerg copper cooler...
You even get a couple of extra copper coolers to replace the motherboard north, and south bridges with...

I couldn't find any place that has that specific pack, but I found this one:
http://www.bigfootcomputers.com/Merc...gory_Code=0040 Would that be good enough as well? It's 20 dollars canadian, comes with the same stuff as mentioned above, but it looks to be an older model.. edit. i'll also be using AS3 that I have, and some crazy glue to attach them. =)

Im using the orb with homemade heat sinks for the ram it help make it more stable. But your not going to see that high of difference in the games or benchmarks. But it does look good too!!
