first lemme say hello to all out there. now, the nitty gritty. here's my specs: IC7-G mobo w/ a P4E (1mb L2 cache), 2 SATA150 120Gig HD's (Raid 0 array) ATI Radeon 9800 Pro agp 8x, 4x512 400mhz dual channel DDR SDRAM, Sound Blaster, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, i just put my memory in yesterday (used to have 2x512 333mhz DDR SDRAM. since i installed the 2 gigs of 400, my pc keeps restarting every few minutes (hope i can post this in time
updated bios, video drivers, can't seem to make it stop. i have a total of 18 fans in my case so i doubt it's a heat problem, maybe voltage? Bigger power supply, or can i change voltage settings in bios? also, can't overclock my cpu since i ditched my IDE's for SATA's. any help? i'll be ur best friend. please email any help pdc76@comcast.net thanx!!!!!!!

Do you have dual channel enabled? If so try running in single channel.

what timings is your RAM running?
4x512 sometimes has trouble holding tighter timings(I'd know...lol) |

found error
found out my video card was at fault. probably due to the oc'ing (i went a little overboard
) but it was warranteed, got my rma and card has been sent off. now i'm running a pci card (ati rage II + DVD 64mb) 3dmark03 won't even run, lol. also went back to my old 333 memory (just 1 gig). i couldn't get the 2 gigs of 400 to work. i left it on overnight and had a blue screen, a few memory dumps here and there, my tech guy said certain mobos don't always like certain memory.Anyone heard of that? By the way, my power supply is a dual fan 450.

You are overclocking and have 18 fans, 4 sticks of ram, a gpu that needs a molex connector, 2 hdd's and probably at least one optical drive and a floppy...
You might need some more juice!

you also fail to mention your CPU temperatures under load and the cooler you are using on the prescott. those cpus run hot especially as you are overclocking - are you running with increased core voltages as well??? if you dont have a good chunk of copper on the processor with a decent high powered or large fan directly over it, it wouldnt matter if you had 36 case fans (well apart from the fact each of them is sucking a few watts from your PSU).
