thats like....a great way to use ALL your PCI slots, not have room for a CPU HSF, and break yer card off at the AGP connector

He says they aren't as heavy as they look. I guess they are all aluminum heatsinks. Maybe they are counting on the fact that there is a lot of onboard stuff like audio and network, so you don't need as many pci slots.

He's pretty big over at rage3d, and it seems that the results (from some peeps at rage) are at least as good as what he advertises on his site. Really crazy looking mods tho

If I remember correctly it's about $125USD to have your card done. Me, I'd just put that money towards a new card, but some people like to pay for individuality.

Yeah, it's to monsterous to look nice. Besides, my 1U copper cooler I modded would probably cool just as good anyway, and for only $40 (ok, so I got ripped off). He does volt mod it though...I'm not an expert in volt modding .

They look hideous to me - im sure they work fine but there is nothing subtle or aesthecially pleasing about them, its just a case of "bolt on as many fans and sinks as possible", better putting the money towards watercooling, especially considering the noise.

acually I wish I had a friend with a machine shop I have some awesome idea's

i'magine combine low cost air cooling, with a low-mid end
watter cooler to = a relitively cheap high end cooling soultion asumeing my idea works good... but it again is just an idea of mine.....

something that could bridge the gap between watter cooling and vapochill
but with a lower bottom line...

Liquid nitrogen is neither practical or affordable for the average Joe.

actually I was 12. I didnt drink back then. I think its the booze that keeps me loopy enough now to NOT try such things.

Why doesnt the K6-2 overclock anyway? I would have thought that it could overclock well since it was at 333mhz and alot of the K6-2's in those days were 500mhz.
