I've heard the little Winchester 3200 is supposed to be pretty good.

lol from a P4 thread to a new AMD thread, you must have some money burning a hole in your wallet bud.

90nm 3200+ and an MSI K8N Neo2. This setup should be able to hit 2.6GHz with the stock hsf with very little voltage(1.5v) and will cost you well under $300. Also clock for clock the 90nm are proving to be faster than even the FX in some things and definitely faster than the older A64 cores.
Best cpus out imho

does anyone think the 90nm 3500+ is worth the money or is it better to get a lower rated cpu like the 3200+ or 3000+ instead?

MSI K8N NEO2 is the best right now for 939 chips.

Well my fiance needs a computer when we get married as I will be busy using my AMD64 for myself with work, so I figured we may as well get another reasonably fast system to save upgrading for a while. I was thinking of P4 as you suggested but wanted to cover my bases with AMD64 too, as I did no research when i got my PC.
