AS-3 or Ceramique
I have both and I am not really wanting to buy AS-5 till I get my new processor. Which would you use?

Just moved to Ceramique from AS5, no noticable diff in temps and no electrical conductivity/capacitance. Easy clean up. What more can you ask for?

I've gone to AS Ceramique because I've had a few problems related to overspill on chipset traces from cleaning routines and I don't think the 1 or 2°C difference is worth it. At least Ceramique is totally non conductive. |

To sum it all up: AS3, Ceramique, and AS5 all have about the same performance. Ceramique is non-conductive, so I'd use it. IMO you shouldn't even buy AS5 unless you run out of your other 2 pastes.

ok, from what i've gathered conductivity in a paste like AS5 is a bad thing, right? why?
