Valid Overclock?

Hi,
I'm just having a play around with my sig system. I've downclocked my memory to ddr 333 from ddr 400 in order to gain an extra 300mhz on my processor speed. My question is: Is it worth downclocking my memory for this gain? I can't get anymore than 8mhz increase on my fsb if I leave the memory at 400mhz before things become unstable.
Thanks

try lowering (loosening/raising) the latencies of the memory in the bios and staying at 400. you need to keep testing and running benchmarks until you hit the sweetspot.
