a little question about keeping your case clean.
well i live in the basement and its a pretty active basement. which means theres dust, dirt, cat and dog hair etc. all over the place down here, and with my comp being back in a little area it sucks up all the dust and what not down here. i have a filter on each of the intake fans and i clean the loose hair out of them every day, and actually take them out for a complete cleaning about every week. even with those my case is still filthy all the time.
the reason i put this thread under modding is because im looking at installing a mini vacume in my case. probably one of those little air purifiers that suck in dust and dirt from all around. i would think that with one of those little guys in there my case should remain mostly spotless. has any one ever heard of this being done before? any one know if this would have any significant impact on airflow? ive got a xaser 3 case, 2 front intakes, 2 side, 2 rear exhaust, and 1 top exhaust. i honestly dont think it should effect it much, if at all. if i can get a purifer small enough i want to put it in the lower hard drive bay which isnt used by anything. if i cant get it in there ive got a pretty big area infront of my HD bay that i could set it. if any one has any suggestions, comments, or tips about setting something up like this please let me know. now that i have a comp with a case window i would like it to look semi clean in there. |
