6919 is a nice CPU mark for pcmark....... , I think my friends overclocked P4 around 2.8 or 2.9 ghz gets 7,200-7,500 (if my memory serves me correctly).

Nice scores - I'm interested in seeing what they are as a baseline with no overclocking whatsoever.

your system is very sweet todd, but what im wondering is, why with such a hardass system are you running a 4200? have you this overclocked heavily?

id like to see those tests again (well 3dmark anyway) with a 9700 watercooled in it.

I agree. A 9700 is a great investment, and it will run even faster as cpu's progress.

To sum it up, buy a 9700, because I honestly would like to see the scores on a 9700 as well.

That's a good OC. Do you by any chance know the stepping of your cpu?

hey guys sorry not replying sonner.

basically the 9700 would be nice but Ive read they dont like high fsbs, which is my major reason for not getting one (and money of course)

once they get some boards with a 1/6 ill be getting a 9700

Karakot, the cpu is aiucb 0242.

it really isnt the best ocer, my temps are great but i still cant go any higher on the cpu (35 under p95)

Just pick up an NFORCE2 board when they become available....no more worrying about dividers with AGP/PCI lock...

Hmm. I've got the same stepping, although probably an earlier week. I'm RMA'ing mine in search of a higher OC. Also I just seen a thread where some guy had his running at 2.7GHz with stock voltage and it was the same aiucb core. I will look for that thread...interesting read.

hmmm...

With ET or samsung pc2700 DDR on Abit mobo,XP 1800, Abitsiluro GF4 ti4200 non Oc-ed system 3d mark score 10980, OC to XP 2000, some oc to core on siluro (some 3%) and 625 on memory, 11400. I cant see an 100$ immprovment in 12500....Although, sell ti4200, add 50$ buy r9500pro get 13230 (as we did) with no OC (same mobo, RAM and else).

Nice system dough, Very nice. Except I'm loseing (lost - luze excuse my english) faith in nVidia's price/performance system, ah good old times when investing in a 3dfx board was allways a good investment, no DX8,9, no drivers hasstle, everything runned so smoothly on Voodoo3 when it came out....mmmmmm....and it was for 180$ !!! these days you cant get that performance under 200$
