yep. the manufacturer's utility is usually the best. If you don't like that you can also try Speedfan or MBM (not sure if MBM supports that board or not).

no i have a torando case fan lol hehe powerful i am ordering two more that is the power of one torando. i used to get reads of 40- full 53. Now it dosent get over 40c i am buying a second one and i am going to learn how to overclock the cpu should i start overclocking its AMD athlon 64 3500

Its an Intel chip right?
I am watercooled, and running 1.5V on a xp-m 2500+ and can only get 30C @ idle. |

I get about the same temps for my processor... after gettin that Zalman 7000-Cu keep my Processor nice and cool... even cooler then my mobo

I think you're fine with what you have. 30C is solid. The Zalmans 7000s and ThermalRight XPs are tops at the moment.

I always heard that motherboard monitoring utilities were not that accurate though...?

true, but everything else being equal the manufacturer's software is usually the best.

I will have to pick up another one for those...actually I just may do that in the next couple of days. Are you using one, and if so, what have you found that works well for you? Don't the Tornado's have 4 wire leads, or am I mistaken.

i'm using Vantec Nexus fan controller ATM. Tornados have two sets of wires coming out, one for the RPMs that connect to your MoBo, and the other is the standard 4 pin molex for power.
