Don't EVEN get me started! A month or so ago my wife was threatening me with all sorts of dire consequences if I spent $100 on a GF4 since $$$ was tight, then we went out two days later and bought a 30k+ mini-van. Last weekend she nixxed me brilliant plan to get a $99 GF4 at a local sale 'cause "money is tight"....today we went out and blew $800us on new tires for the Pathfinder. Which needed it; but she did get the best quality, high-performance model/make she wanted...and thought looked way bitching. (Credit to her, they are sweet! )

But I don't get how money can be THAT tight?!? We do have a bad tendancy to blow hundred dollar bills like kleenex at times, at least I get a whole lot of bang for the buck putting it into our systems!!!!

<pant-pant-pant>

Like I said, don't get me started. I feel your pain friend, just remember that your better half probably is right and you've got yourself a pretty nice system right now. (But DAMN IT I want to crack 10K on 3dm2k1se with Bubbles and be able to say she's "done"! )

My job moved here. I work on boats so I'm always moving around. I'll be back in Ontario for the spring.

On the large drydock in Hamilton (West end of Lake Ontario):

What?!?!

You were over by Navy Pier and didn't swing past and say "Hi!"?!? It's just a real quick cruise down Burns Ditch to the Little Calumet.... I'm scoring 7180/98se 6890/XP with the 41.09 sets on both for 3dm2k1se on Bubbles. She games just fine, I just got the "gotta crack 10K in 3dm2k1se!!!!" woody going.

Yet again, a thread that reduces me to tears my KT266A/1.76ghz AXP system benches LESS than these celerons And they all have better video cards than I do too. I think that I need to upgrade, and fast... My Athlon pulls about 10500/9500 it/s in the second test - I never remember for values for the first one...
