"Birds of a feather, flock together".
Ya, I put this over here for the folks who aren't familiar with the OCforums.
This is the other of my favorite places to hang out.

Donator
Easier to just install the fan I have, which is the Side Bar Fan. Blows air so strong that my wall paper behind the PC moves. It sits just behind your RAM.

The downdraft pushes the air out both ends.

Ya maybe "ugly" but it serves it's purpose.. And it was free.

funny thing is that its kinda pointless....even on the highest speed ram, the top companies like Corsair or OCZ have already said that the ramsinks are pointless. They are just there to look cool(and they succeed at that)

the more stuff that they have, the better at selling. RAM sinks are really cool too.....especially like Corsair XMS PRO that has LED lights .

Yes it would be.
But to be honest, I don't have all that much space to put a fan that size in there. I was going to "ghetto" a chipset cooler fan too. But I figured that my blower fan that is attached to the side cover, would cover the outsides of the ram adequately. This little blower fan is just thin enough to not obscure the air flow from the side fan and cover the area in between the sticks of ram where it would have a tendency to build up heat from lack of air pressure.
