Wink Mod Windows Os

Here's a site I found that's pretty cool. It has alot of different things you use to changes your boot screens, Log On Screens start menu and startmenu bar and pretty much the entire GUI of windows XP. And they have stuff so you can "make your own" (my favorite part of course) not sure what kind of support they have for other OSs or Other versions of windows. But I am addicted to it.

Some of the Boot screens are pretty intersting. Some of the verbage reads:

Loading the Hacked version of windows
Windows, the problematic Edition
Windows, the Bug free editions (roaches and bugs all over it)
Windows, the Pirated Edition
Windows, the Gamers Edition
Windows, the Slayer Edition;
Theres a gollum one and it reads.. DId you say...Windows? & he looks scard
Windows, the Handicapped Edition

Theres a bout a hundred of those. Good stuff. Heres the link

G4TechTV: I saw Yoshi pimp out a PC with leapord print, fur and gold plating, there's a theme at this site in leopard print. They also have stuff to make windows look like Mac. Crazy stuff for your OS.

I stick with default because I don't spend a significant amount of time waiting for Windows XP to load.

Thanks for the links to other sites. The more the merrier. If anyone else has links for changing window GUI, please share. I like to customize everything. The default window look is not appealing to me. Load time is ok. They are usuallly not more than 8 bit, 72 dpi, bitmaps, so they usualy won't take long unless you have a really really freakin old timer. But it does slow it down a dab.

As cool as themed desktops look. I have never been a big fan of messing with the skins. I have tried it a couple of times before, and I am just not "comfortable" with it. For some reason windows never "feels" the same after I would mess around with the themes.
