They couldn't get a FX-55 to run at 4 GHz:

"Fugger’s goal was 4GHz during the weekend. He didn’t reach it, but he came very close."

That's what happens when you plan something, it's better not to expect that you'll succeed.
I would have made sure that I can get a FX-55 to run at 4 GHz before the public demonstration.

3.73 EE Temps & Overclocking

I have a P4 3.73 EE with Asus P5AD2E-Prem motherboard and OCZ2N800SR1G (PC2-6400) memory - watercooled system (DD RBX CPU block and Maze4 Chipset block).

Can anyone post CPU (and if avail, cooling block) temps for IDLE and LOAD for this CPU? At 3.73Ghz and overclocking speeds if possible, too.

I have had some kind of cooling issue since I got the computer 2 yrs ago. I am about to rebuild and reseat the cooling blocks. I have at IDLE a cooling block temp of 32C and CPU temp of 59C! I would like some "target" numbers so I can know where I should be.

I also cannot figure out how to overclock this over 5% - I cannot even reach 4Ghz. Can anyone tell me specifically what to do to get it to work?

THANKS! Hope you guys with this processor are still around. I haven't seen any recent posts about this chip in a long time!
