??? Gigabyte X800XTPE Bios weirdness

Wassup. I recently read that the best OC'ing XTPE Bios is Powercolor's, so I decided to flash my Gigabyte X800XTPE with the Bios from techpowerup. But when I backed-up the Bios on the card, I noticed it was almost 10K bigger than any of the Bioses I found online. Furthermore, when I tried to flash, it said the Bios didn't match the model (I double-checked, of course). I would force flash or flash an empty Bios and then the new one, but I'm kinda worried about what those extra 10K might contain. I already searched these forums and online but couldn't find anything relevant. If anyone has some recommendations or information, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks.

the bios may have been tampered with before you got it, i say find the same bios (the powercolor) on a different site and se it is still missing 10k

Well, I downloaded a several X800XTPE Bioses from many manufacturers (including ATi) from 3 different sites (including mvktech.net) and found all X800XTPE Bioses to be around 54-56KB in size. Only the Gigabyte X800XTPE has a 64K Bios. WTH?
