Mobility Mod
Is there any way to mod a RADEON 7500 into a 7800?
Should be a matter of a BIOS switch right? None of the utilities I have found are able to read the M7 bios. Any ideas? |

What is a 7800... That would be my first question... The second is ... Where are these utilities that you speak of?

radedit & 7800
7800 firegl is the workstation class version of the 7500 - same chip I think. BIOS mods are handled via RADEDIT except that it can not read my M7 BIOS.

desktop cards are old hat
I have a lot of experience modding 8500s but now I want to try my hand at mobility mods.

It's probably a driver mod then - like modding 8800 drivers to run on a 8500.
