Lower one, so that you can increase the FSB easier, the CPU will be able to handle higher FSBs, sometimes at a lower Mhz, but higher FSB = more performance, if ur ram can handle it.

It all depends on what you're doing. Just follow the simple formula: fsb x multiplier = CPU speed.
If you are going for a high fsb then you want a lower multiplier, if you want to OC your cpu while keeping the fsb at default speeds, you use a higher multiplier. Heh, hope I made sense

There isn't really one set way to overclock. Some people, such as myself, just don't feel comfortable with really high bus speed and, as such, prefer multiplier manipulation to FSB manipulation. But, yeah, the way it works is this: the lower the multiplier, the higher (potentially, anyway) the FSB. And as your FSB increases, so will your system performance.

dang it... i hit post reply before i was done. Anyway, i think i will probably just wait at least 6 months before O/C-ing, that way i will have used it a lot and i will not feel too bad if it blows out. also by then i will have a great heatsink/fan. I want an 80 CFM fan. Along with my box fan. AHAHAHAHA
