Does the K7s5a HAVE multiplier selection??
If not, then you're just wasting time unlocking....

http://www.ocworkbench.com/hardware/...k7s5amodp1.htm
No multiplier adjustment unless you butcher the motherboard!

http://forum.ocworkbench.com/ocwbcgi...c&f=4&t=001477

Not sure if the FSB-adjustable "overclockers BIOS" is there

A 112 MHz FSB overclock (12%) should be well tolerated - not sure if the other timings are sync or async - AGP cards in particular can be fussy about this.

Hold on - your MAIN system is this board - what's the Duron in?

The k7s5a doesn't have multiplier adjustments, so unlocking it would be useless in the ECS board

Speaking of BIOS multipliers.... My giga-byte 7AVX doesn't have multiplier control in the bios.....can you use an unlocked processor with no multiplier in the bios....or is it just fine to use the motherboard multiplier controls?

if you wanna change multipliers your cpu MUST be unlocked, wether its thru the bios or by dipswitches or jumpers or whatever

EDIT: misread last post... YES it is possible to change multipliers by whatever means if the proc is unlocked
