just downloaded and installed the surround 5.1 pro usb drivers. Is it right that it only contains the creative audiosystem control panel and not the creative console? Or did I do something wrong? PS: Before installing your drivers I removed the original creative software... |

USB sound card for the Alpha Tactic headset...
Any chance of getting modded drivers for the usb sound card that comes with the Alpha Tactic Headset? From what I understand its basically an X-Fi Go without the 1gb storage.

question, how come with crystalizer some songs with a very low bass get very distorted, mainly dance, trance, and techno. other than that it works wonders in games.
example, listen to "paul keeley - life aquatic" (first song to find that did it) its a duu duu duu sound instead of a boom boom boom sound. its also does it in black ops when you hold your breath as a sniper, the heartbeat you hear. just wondering if there is a fix. besides turning it off. btw: using usb 5.1 surround (non-pro), and new drivers installed fine, thanks. |

new problem, at higher volumes, there is crackling now. if i go to my onboard its not there. ill try reinstalling the old ones again to see if if goes away then will repost.
edit: ok, reinstalled/unistalled/cleaned several times. got the new drivers installed properly and they do sound beter, turns out it was my player that was causing it. sry about that Last edited by Shckr57; Sep 17, 2011 at 07:32 PM. |

Question: What is with the problem that everytime i restart my system my speakers are set back to headphones? I got a 5.1 system goddamnit. I extra downloaded this drivers to fix this problem. But its still there. (windows7 64bit)

I just got my new PCI E T CHamp card on Monday I had formated my pc lol. I be going out for lunch soon When I get back I work on those sets. I'd been busy trying drffter setting in the drivers I'm going put my old tweaks and new tweaks together so far they sound even better.

so the problem with the speakersetup will be fixed? That would be awesome. I just wrote an hatemail through some website rating field of creative because theres no way for me in germany (or somewhere else on the world i guess) to get in contact with them for some personal help, not even email.. i searched about 30 minutes for it. If theres a possability to payapal you give me a hint

i just spent some more hours to fix this problem and found marko recorder. A tool wich is shareware. Theres an easy way to record or/and build your own script. You can even record mouse movement and/or clicks and stuff. With easy launch program, wait for window to show and tab-tab-tab-right-tab-tab-5-close window command its done in 5 min. In addition i exported it to an exe and putted it to my autostart programs. The window shows 1 sec. Done. Fast, and easy. I guess its important to name the exe with something beyond C in the alphabet since windows starts the programs alphabetic. I can upload the exe somewhere if somebody is interrested. Works for me (windows 7 x64, usb - creative surround 5.1 pro).
