I plan release the set again I think I forget the driver updated file thats why dolby didn't work for vista.

Creative new beta driver question??

The problem seems to be the way Creative have changed the main volume control panel.
If you double click on the volume icon, there is a new button called "Speaker Volume..."
They have now split the volume previously it was just left and right, but now you have channels 3 to 8 as separates.

As soon as you move the volume dial on the Creative Console it controls the left and right but forces channel 8 to max and channels 3 to 7 to nothing.

Looks to me that Creative have re-written the code for the Play Control Panel (sndvol32.exe),
but not updated the console (ConsoLC.exe) to reflect these changes.

Dolby Digital Live For Existing X-Fi and Audigy Owners

Further to our previous announcement, we anticipate making the Dolby Digital Live feature available in early August. The Dolby Digital Live feature will only be compatible with Sound Blaster X-Fi products with the EMU20k1 processor and Sound Blaster Audigy products that include a SPDIF output standard on the card or include a SPDIF output via a separate card or I/O drive.
The Dolby Digital Live component will be made available for US$4.72.

hi, i have the PCIe SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro and i tried to install the Pax-X-FI-OS-Driver-V5.15, but it never found the right hardware...
did i used the wrong version?
and by the way, is it possible to use the mic boost with this driver?

Sorry no new drivers yet on PCIe's

I haven't look into them for you guys yet. I'm planing working on audio drivers this week. It seems my computer more stable now it was last week. I just order new ATI 2600 pro 512meg graphics card and also new wireless card

There no drivers at creative web site so if someone has PCIe drivers willing donate them from there cd I be happy look into it to see what I can do with them thankyou.

there are folders like "Audio, CMS, CTengine, CTrun, CTshared, DirectX, FCC, MTB6"

Look it's in Enteranment Mode and works works it works

Plus the 8 channel also works

I think this might be my best ever driver set in the world woot!
I know I wish I have xfi in back my own computer lol But I love bgears sound card

so much hehe.
PS I used the software suite and works with it now

plan release that in July sometime. Once the drivers are fully working for everone else first

I'm not test 8 channel , because I'm using 5.1, LOGO DOLBY & DTS was apear, but I show MOVIE on POWER DVD 8 ULTRA, use SPIDF in AUDIO SETIING of POwerDVD and In Creative AUDIO CONSOLE I chose Use Built-In Decoder, no more SOUND.

On cards witch hardware id PCI&VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_002C1102 you need modet modet dat for l2.18 beta drivers ctp046Aw.dat dat file

Robert, i know your very busy and we all all greatful for your efforts on these drivers, but have you any ideas timewise when you think you may have v5.20 for X-Fi WinXP (and the new software suite also) ?
I'm waiting to do a fresh install.

I'm still on v4.10 as this was the last set which had "syncronise with control panel" working

thanks, but SPIDF - INDECODER work, I mean when See Movie by POWER DVD - chose ausio setting >> SPIDF & in Creative audio console >> chose Use Built_IN , POWER DVD work??? You have already tested??? Let me Know!!

Hi Guys,
I tired to instal these drivers several times, but without success. I have Audigy 2 (SB0240) and Vista 64. Anybody have idea how to make it work?? I used to use these drivers (older ones) on win XP and I was very happy about quality of sound, but now I can only use Creative beta drivers 2.18.

Does anybody have an idea how to make it work?

Btw if anybody have problem to make SPDIF work on Vista 64, I recommend to download Hotfix Windows6.0_KB936225_x64. It works for me (Logitech z5500 internal dekoder works perfectly now).

I see. The Raysource is a downloader. You must download Raysource in the page and installation it.
