System Specs

Installed Pax Audigy XP VistaV5.30.rar.

My System, XP32 SP3, Audigy 2ZS.
Settings missing when i reopen Windows Mixer again.
(Mic +20dB Check, checks of muted sources etc.)
Check for "only digital output" was set but analog output was doing fine.
Switched the the check a few times, but analog output was always working.
"Mute" works fine.

In Windows mixer, the options "MIDI-Synth, Auxilary, Audio-CD & Line in" are working fine and keep theirs settings/checks.
The settings/checks "Wave, TAD-In, Microphone" and "digital output only, mic+20dB" are broken.
Moving any slider or checking somethin wont change anything. The only exception is the mute check for microphone, the check is working but windows doesnt keep the setting.

Foobar sounds good.
I run some games this evening.
I can only test stereosounds, i have only an 2.1 system and a headphone.
I hope somebode else can do the 7.1 / 5.1 tests.

Replace it Um which file asking that I might have chage the date on that file
Thats great news since everthing sound good those are not base on new beta drivers but with one file from beta driver Is the mic working for you then? I haven't put tags in the pax name yet I will soon. Thats why it's not offcial out yet I need someone test on vista thanks.

Mic is working, but i have to set the checks in windows mixer every time i boot up XP.
This sucks, i hope you find a solution soon

The rest seems to work fine.
By the way, thanks for your hard work here.

But great to see a new X-Fi-OS version (5.25)

I will try out next days and I bet they will run just fine like all your versions do for me with XP 32Bit.

i tested creative X-Fi new driver...tat is working very good.CMSS-3D function also enable in Vista x64.Now i got all 7channel working. Pls release ur PAX driver to this new version.

I have test thie driver 5.30 with my Audigy 4 on Vista 32.
The drivers isn't install and the card doesn't works (same problem with 5.25)

Hi Robert,

I have a fresh XP Pro 32 install again with my Audigy 2. I was experiencing a windows explorer crash bug that I have finally gotten rid of.

I ran the 5.20 set and they are fine with the exception of the EQ and ID my card as a 2ZS.

The 5.25 set fixed the EQ and is working now but the Mic bug is back. It ID my card as a Audigy 2. From the looks of the few posts above the Mic bug carried over to the 5.30. I just have to have the Mic working for voip so I will go back to the 5.20's til you fix up that new driver that's out.

One question though, what software package is everyone using now with these drivers? Just the Audigy4.iso or the PAX-Fiv2.32.2006.SP2? Because I really need the base redirect on the creative speaker control panel because it's not in the Audio Console.

It may miss your Card ID. Please posted I look into. Hard part I might not get new XFI driver done my dad brother comming up for vista with and and my Aunt comming up with over weekend. Plus I have take care of my new pup rocky I try my best though lol.

Hi thanks for input Ya I understand mic bug is back I look more 5.30 set should have A4 on it. Please download the audigy series summer 2008 suite July set.

Audigy Series Vista Driver - 9th May 2008 (X-Fi Driver Mod) No More Goat Soup
install -> control panel-> system->device manager-> audigy XXX -> update driver
point -> Drivers\wdm


01. based on 2.18.001 of audgiy driver
02. audio console 1.20.57 [fix speaker switch will mute]
03. cteq working
04. a2 -> a4 softmod
05. creative mediasource 5.20.23 working.

P.S. disable cthelper.exe、ctxihlp.exe from startup.
[run msconfig to disable them from startup]

Np Um Pax audigy series 5.30 not offical out yet I have tag it yet it's a test run make sure it works ok with everone. I'm planing work on xfi drivers tomorrow new set. I try tag that also but I got see works good with my xfi on my other older pc first. If pass I have some people on my list try out next if that pass we might see release on Tuesday hope with audigy series and xfi one. I do have my aunt and uncle up here so we see if I can get any work done. Don't forget I have new puppie now

Hey Robert, I tried the 5.30 anyway to see what it would ID my A2 and the A2 to A4 worked, EQ worked, but Mic bug is there. Hmmm, it has ID my A2 in the DeviceMGR just an Audigy. My Hardware ID is:

Yup I just added support for it So far it's installing good on vista system and x64 systems
