Hi, Sorry for being annoying but when i run setup from Pax_PCI_Express_X-Fi_Xtre0 for pci-express x-fi extreme audio i get a message that "Not driver found" install the drivers manually the card working but when i'm truing again running the setup.exe the same message appears.
Anyway is there a chance in some future release of your drivers for pci-express x-fi extreme audio to enable "what you hear" in vista? Thank you. Last edited by soularav; Aug 11, 2008 at 06:49 AM. |

hi rob
sorry but my speaker didnīt work at all ! reinstalled your driver but i canīt get select the rear speaker ! the front left, front right and center is ok, but i cannot set any sound direct to the rear speakers (like i have only 2.1 sound) what can i do ?? i have vista and everything set up correct |

Hi Ya I work on vista driver better one file I need grab from 5.25 set hehe make everthing work good.

so uīll fix the surround bug and the not wright working dd/dts thing ? so that dd will really passed through to the speakers / receivers ? that might be pretty nice ! will u post the fixes and the new file announcement here so i can check if my errors are gone ? |

Hi Robert, could you please shortly tell me, if you installl driver or suite first. I know, you did a little guide somewhere but I can`t find it again, perhaps you could give me the link to your post?
I have not tested the V6.00 yet, just installed V5.30, but I can say it`s great that you embedded the new Volume panel! I hope you never stop your hobby  But don`t forget, it`s a hobby, don`t forget to meak brakes/holiday sometimes

Thank you cmhdream and robert (answered @ youpax).
The V6.00 set is working as great as the others for me so far, still using XP 32Bit and X-Fi Extreme Music. I can tell more after playing a bit Counterstrike and Battlefield but I guess it will sound as good as other latest sets.

The PAX X-Fi V6.00 driver does not work for me but the V5.25 driver works. This is with X-Fi Extreme Music in Vista X64.

Hello Robert! Thank you so much for your hard work and for standing up to Creative.
I apologize for responding to this with an issue and hope there's something you can do to help me out. I'm expierencing the same problem as the person in this thread: Problem with SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_15_0006 and Creative RM-1800 remote - Sound Blaster - Creative Labs The issue is that when you attempt to adjust the volume, it only changes the left channel.  I installed your driver suite but they don't include the Entertainment Center which is the component that enables access to the remote functionality. I understand you don't have a remote but was wondering if you'd be willing/able to remove the OS check from the Entertainment Console which is written for Vista. I'd be willing to test it, but am not good enough to remove this check. Creative Entertainment Center 3.40.21 Filename: [COLOR=Cyan]ECUP_PCVTAPP_LB_3_40_21.exe[/COLOR] Filesize: 33.67MB Creative Worldwide Support EDIT: I've also tried the "fix" on that page where it suggests installing a back dated driver but it didn't work, instead I had issues with the Volume Panel not recognizing the sound card. |

Ya new driver set be out soon I did quick fix on it just need test this after noon. I might have make two drivers set for xp and vista still be one set but driffter cab support. To soularav Please added me one chats I have in my profile I help you out more when I get chance
To ProperMethodz did you try check the box move all speakers setting at once I don't see you u have check at all.

Ever one who used Vista 64bit used 5.25 driver one my freinds told me only that works for that so far. New v6 doesn't do that.

Hi You can sign up at my backup forum is your name same as youp pax site. Sorry guys and gals no driver been work today I had help my wireless owner with digging underground wires from the tower because it was still in the air now it's not

Updated I know how get x64 drivers to work everone used 5.25 set for now
that works with x64 set.

Robert. I am thinking of trying your drivers. Here is my question. I have no uninstall for the drivers in my Add/Remove programs. What would be the best way to install your drivers? Over the top of my current install or go to device manager and remove the creative driver there then driver cleaner reboot and install?

It's up to you you can do web updated that what my drivers base on. Wait couple days if you want I have new xfi set soon
so far it's green on xfi one

Hey Robert, can you tell me why your Pax X-Fi 6.0 is better than the creative X-Fi driver?
Your Pax X-Fi 6.0 include the latest Creative Console, Alchemy, and original Creative X-Fi driver? I'm using Z-5500. |

Yes of crouse new set comming out tonight sometime testing one more try on x64 to see if works if not I lease them out xfi and aduigy users and good news audigy users I slove x64 issue not xfi yet. lol. Folder name going be same as driver name that way it installes fine.

i use..."audigy se" as "xfi xtreme audio" (xp32)thanks to danielk mod.......it enables blue console...eax....eQ...cmss3d.....(in xfi-xtrme audio-same processor,as audigy se)i think you can study them in order to enforce yours.. id like to upgrade them but dont know how.... also would be good to enable dts/dolby.on them. great work.....and very util gift for all. thanks. |

This version resolve two bugs :
- Audio Console is install, but the drivers isn't install. I need to install drivers manually. - I don't have Dolby/DTS settings Doesn't resolve : - EAX doesn't work (the white panel is empty) ; Thanks Robert McClelland |
