First, thank you for your drivers Robert!
I've tried your newest version with my X-Fi Xtreme Music to see that DD and DTS decoding is seemingly activated. Problem is, whether its the PS2, the PS3 or some random video passed through by ac3filter, my soundcard does NOT do anything with the stream. PS2 and PS3 are connected via Optic to Toslink, which is i think correct. In the Console Launcher app (the new beta) it says in the Digital I/O menu, that it cannot recognize the signals if that is of importance. My Question is, even though those icons for DD and DTS are activated, is it still possible that it just doesnt work or am i doing anything wrong? Btw, i also tested the orginal new drivers. I'd be glad for any help! |

Hi welcome Ya I still need work on dolby dts I might have used old file from 3.63 set even for audigy make them work right thanks for coments. You did fine I just could be creative lol. Ya on my music card dolby and dts are activated so your fine.

I have a question for you. Can you please do something to have "what you hear" function in windows vista for "x-fi xtreme pci-Express" beucase creative doesn't support this feature for this card in vista.     Thank's in advance.

Ok, i tried to install PAX Audigy Series V6.05 on my
Auigy 2 ZS / XP SP3 but it failed. Deinstalltion of Pax_Audigy_V6.00 crashed to a BSOD. After that every Driver or AudCon setup complained about "a former driver installlation was done without restart - plz restart & try again" So i restarted, deinstalled everything again. Restart -> Driver Cleaner -> Restart But the problem is still there. No matter which driver i try to install, at the begin of driver installation it kicks me out with this "a former driver installlation was done without restart - plz restart & try again" Message. I HATE THAT ! Is there a way to set this manually ? There must be a "screw" in the registry to change that flag. Nothing helped here. I even tried to fix it in Windows safe mode. AudCon Setup quits with Error Code -6003. Any Idea ? Thx in advance. @Robert do you have an old version of the YouP Pax 3.63D ? The version i have here is one big installer but im looking for a zipped version from where i can install everythin manually. This is still the last driver that worked 100% without any bugs here. ya you can installed manually just go WDM folder then click creative setup. Whats your ID to your card maybe I'm missing support in that set. Thanks for leting me know
I guess I rebuild the set again hehe. I since I have two working sound cards now it's awesome :P

I can install the driver manually from WDM folder, but that doenst change this annoying "a former driver installlation was done without restart - plz restart & try again" Bug when i try to install from Setup or try to install Audio Console manually.

must uncompress to c:\windows\temp\CRF000 then execute c:\windows\temp\crf000\setup.exe to install the driver. try my way to install. |

Robert,
That Audigy 6.05 driver does not install. I tried the setup.exe found in the default directory and also the setup.exe found in the driver directory. I just cannot get it to work for my Audigy2.

Can any1 confirm if this driver is working with Audigy 2 ZS (SB0350) under Win XP SP3? I read through the last pages of this thread and there are sooo many problems that I have doubts installing this.

I don't have a lot of luck installing these, I can't get them to install properly on either vista or xp. Any ideas, they don't sound good even if I can get them installed, I ensure there are no traces of old drivers when uninstalling. The card works with Creative drivers but I would really like to give these a try. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I just installed the newest youpax drivers, but i'm totally stumped as to which software pack I need to download? All I have at the moment is the audio console.

Audigy Platinum Ex. Confirm Caliostro's and crack1up's problem. First of all - problem with uninstall of previous driver and second - after proper install - driver doesn't work.

Ok I'm testing new way to do drivers now
if works on XFI I do to on audigy from pax 5.25 set and rebuild driver from new one into old one since everone like that set better

Goodnews I formated and new drivers work prefect from old 5.25 settings I used the new driver base offical ones. So look for the new set time midweek.
