I dont understand. I appologize for my lack of knowledge in this area. I downloaded the .rar file and opened it up. It gave me a folder named YouP-PAX_Audigy_Series_20e(2). Inside this folder is another folder named {YouP-PAX Audigy Series 2008 Suite}. Inside this folder is a whole bunch of stuff with a set up exe. Do I dbl click the install exe and just choose to install software and not a driver or something? If I have a working driver installed can I just install the software? If not where do I get the driver to go along with the software?

No, those are not Daniel_K's. He posted them on his website as a news item. Those are official Creative beta drivers. The final version is out now, check Creative's site. They were also posted back a page or three on this thread, I believe.

Is anyone using this exact download? My card and everything works but I want the most recent working driver and would like some of the software. Just afraid to uninstall a working set up.

Hi all!!!
Could You help me? I bought a month a go a X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook.. I expected a nice sound and good performance and.. I was very surprised, because that "card" was not work propertly.. especially with cracking and pumpking sound and recording..  I found information, than this trouble is effect of bad cooperation with motherboard based on Nvidia chipset, but my notebook is a Compal VBI FL90, so this is platform based on Intel chipset with Nvidia GPU [GF 8600M GT].. I reinstalling all stuff from CD, then I tried find some drivers on Creative support page, but I cannot find newer driver than on CD.. beta drivers from Creative support don't detected my card.. so I try reinstall driver for this "soundcard" from another site [like Youp PaX] but.. I cannot find a pack witch I will can install.. always I see communicate "Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system'.. I tried this: Pax X-Fi Xtreme Audio V2.0 PAX X-Fi OS V6.10 Youp_Pax_XFIAudio&XFIXpressAudioV1.01 always with the same effect..:/ my equipment: - notebook: Compal FL90 VBI, specification is here: IFL90 - Windows XP SP2 - sound interface: X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook, model no: SB0710, notification about this is here: ExpressCard Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook SB0710EF maybe someone has similar trouble?? sry for my english.. greatings! jata |

Hi All,
I tried the new 2008 driver package for X-Fi and all worked nicely except I could not find the "entertainment center" in the soft ware package. Thus my remote does not work. So, I tried to extract from the Install Cd I just received and I got either a "Setup has experienced an error" : Code -6003, or if I completely uninstalled all the drivers and started over from scratch then the CD install could not detect the X-Fi card........What's up with this? Any help wold be appreciated.........thanks. N

I got the new tune up done on newest beta set
I'm sending them to tester on my messeger list soon I also fix up for dell support in next xfi release it should install hope so.

Ok, will download now and everything looks fine and it should have good surround for my 5.1 speakers (X-Fi Xtreme Gamer).
One thing I must ask: Does this driver feature full ASIO support? Thanks.
