I also have the same issue.
Vista x64 Ultimate - PCIE X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional (SB0886)
I downloaded 6.15, and my Xbox 360 still only works through stereo digital in. It goes silent when I change the Xbox to 5.1. If you got the Dolby decoder working for my setup, you would be my hero!

Also, I've tried checking to make sure my X-Fi supports hardware DD decoding, but Creative's Compatability List does not have SB0886.

I´m still waiting that the new PAX drivers make it possible to decode the Signal, until then we have to use Stereo.... i hope sooooooo much that it will work...

i hope robert McClelland will get it , but i´m even not sure that i will works, because, like you sad, there is no hardware decoding.....

I might be a little confused. Does anybody know for sure if the X-Fi Titanium (PCI-E) supports DD&DTS decoding through the optical in? I just want to make sure I'm waiting with good reason. =)

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

I just purchased the X-Fi Titanium card and did not realize that the 5.1 from the ps3/360 was not supported. I'm using Vista x64.

I'm glad I came across this site. I downloaded the driver that you just posted and installed it. For some reason or another it is still not decoding the 5.1 signals - I only get the in menu clicks when navigating. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Everything else works perfectly fine as far as sounds for windows and applications go.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions/comments and your efforts are greatly appreciated....

Even w/o the 5.1 DD decoding, I'm in love with your drivers.

Same Problem here, the 5.1 Signal don´t works, but the rest is great, sound is nearly perfect for me! Thanks´a lot, i don´t understand how creative can release a card with optical-in without beeing able to decode a digital 5.1 signal like Xbox360 oder PS3, thats just dump

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

I just tested the new drivers. Still no 5.1 for my X-Fi Titanium Fatality Professional in Vista Ultimate 64, unfortunately. In the SPDIF I/O tab in Audio Control Panel, the SPDIF Input Settings are still locked out at Default. Is that what the "World first PCI Express Tianinum Mod" was supposed to do? I'm just trying to clarify. My X-Fi still works with the 360 on stereo digital input.

In response to TheProphetGER:
I bought this X-Fi Titanium because I was told my PCI-E X-Fi Xtreme Audio didn't have DD decoding. Ya, it's really dumb that Creative puts the optical in on their cards when they refuse to use them.

I'd be glad to help. I sent you my names.

What exactly am I looking for with the bass? All I know is everything sounds amazing. My bass sounds great, not too overpowering or anything like that. However, I'm sure if you were in another room of the house that opinion might change. =)
