Everything thus far sounds amazing and so crystal clear - especially the bass but I would love to enjoy the sound from the game consoles to appreciate them that much more...
Well thats up to creative part lol Fix those issues I just tune them up hehe. Well it's up to want do compare or you can run two sound cards at once hehe.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

I'm sure it's me, but since installing your newest drivers, I get no sound from my PC. Not even headphones.

I can see in the Mixer and in all the menus that nothing is muted, in fat, i can see the level bar showing that the sound is playing, just no sound from the actual speakers or headphones.

(tried headphones using both back panel, and front panel of a Dell 420.)

Any tips of what I'm missing would be a big help.

THANKS!

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Thanks a heap!
Its a Dell computer, so the card is.. well, its a "mystery" even to Dell (yay!)
But the number seems to be
Audio card Creative SB X-Fi SB0770 (B)

Heres a image of what it looks like, because the card doesn't look like anything listed on the Dell site (another Yay)
http://tinyurl.com/5h7otr

Just because I'm paranoid...
The BIOS: Dell Inc. A06 06/23/2008

I've made sure that the onboard audio is set to off in the Bios (hey, it happens to all of us... admit it peoples!)

Thanks so much!

Hey Robert, Will there be never any possibility to integrate the Software Dolby Digital and DTS Decoder into the Titanium PCIe Drivers by yourself?! I hate playing DEAD SPACE without dolby digital!

Creative just released DDL Pack and DTS Connect Pack updates for X-fi Titanium.

I have no clue if this will help with the dolby decoding that we all need from the SPDIF In...I hope it will help with at least a step into the right direction.

DECODE DECODE DECODE DDDDDDDeeeeeeeeeccccccccooooooooooddddddddeeee!!!! please - hehe

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Hi, sorry if this has been sorted out but too many pages to go through, I have a PCI-E X-fi Xtreme audio card & the supplied drivers are Vista only, so too the drivers at Creative web site, is there a proper XP pro (32bit) driver for this card, at the moment I am using the "X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook drivers", they seem to work ok.
Many thanks.

Robert you are a God Send among men, Big Thanks for this drivers package, I had to make a account on ths forum just to complement you on a job well done.

I'm On a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and I just reacently switched to Windows Server 2008 64-Bit Edition, and the Creative Audio Console didn't have the CMSS2 and Stereo Surround options, and also my rear speakers never worked with the official drivers on creatives site.

Your driver package fixed all that.

Thumbs Up! Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

I've got to say that you're doing a great job with the driver mods. I've been using them for a long time now and I've nothing but good things to say about them.

Problem is, Creative introduced a new executable file in the last stable/previous beta that sits in your memory whenever you open the Console Launcher that is now also present in your set. The file's called CTAELicensing.exe , any idea what this thing does and if it'd be possible to remove it? I'm rolling back to an older set for now.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Thank you very much Mr. McClealland
Hehe, I believe in your drivers, and I will definitely try them because I have problems with the standard drivers for my X-Fi XtremeMusic in Vista x64.

I'm sorry if this is a EXTREMELY stupid question, but should I just download the PAX_X-Fi_OS_V6.20.rar, or should I also download the Special Bass Edition (or is it only for X-Fi Titanium)?
I'm just a bit confussed, but if I understand you right, the Special Bass thing is also included with the first one ("Wing Foot")?

In addition I wonder if we should use ALchemy with these drivers? Would that be necessary to convert the OpenAL in Vista to EAX and DS3D (or something), or are the Pax-Fi handling this on it's own?

Another thing; does anyone know what kind of sound settings I should use in Counter-Strike 1.6 to achieve the best possible 3D-sound for gaming? (like EAX should be enabled, but all those "s_" settings is hard to understand :/).

Thank you for helping

You want only the XFI PCI one if you have PCI E Titanium you want other one. XFI Music goes with Pax XFI OS
