XP,Vista,Win 7 Driver Support for Audigy,XFI,Xtreme Audio,USB,PCI E Support Cards

Hi Everone. Let you know I installed my old Audigy 2 card it does work. I do get error after done installing the drivers. That error is about restarting error just ingore that. And restarted after you installed the drivers. Here the proof my drivers do work on audigy

So is this better than xp YouP PAX drivers for audigy2zs(softmod to A4)? So should I switch to vista because of these? Any X-Fi features for audigy2?

YA But xfi software won't work on an audigy cards just only the drivers. lol So keep your audigy 4 pro software

But you do get awesome quality boost in sound area from the drivers

Shaga if you have vista there download link for the drivers please tell me if installer works for them. If they don't I would have find driffter installer for vista folkes.

Ok, I understand it installed the driver. I got that part. Here is the rest:

1. I am using YouP-PAX-fiv2.32.2006.SP2 software which includes a softmod from Audigy2 to Audigy4 and not Xfi software.

2. The install hangs and doesn't finish. Therefore, no shortcuts or uninstall are placed on the drive. This is in no way a complete install hence the error message.

3. After the half failed install there is no direct sound support or it's not mapped. It just doesn't work. I tried the driver with Ventrilo.

4. None of the software mentioned above workes on this driver because it states my device is not supported, hence no softmod included.

Conclusion, anyone installing this driver on XP, PM Robert for tha good stuff so that you can imagine the usefulness of this driver without the correct or a modified software package. LOL

Edit: Please keep in mind that I spent 5 hours trying to make this work and believe me the new driver buzz wore off long before I was finished. Sorry for the long post.

Robert.. The V4.00.03 drivers DO NOT work for the Xi-Fi Xtreme Audio. The setup went fine, but when I restarted my computer, windows didn't detect the drivers.

And it's Xtreme Audio not Xtream Audio.

It shouldn't be hard to remod it. It's easy to me. But I wait after holidays work on that it's my break right now

I was hoping it would work for that card I guess not. Do thanks for testing it out leting me know. I'm getting better all time at this since I'm only working on driver mods lol.

crack1up Are you trying redo the package? lol. I would handle that part later on. Right now I'm going be to busy get ready move next Month. Audigy 4 pro software should work with my currect set. I have my old audigy 2 also. What you need to do used that 2.32sp2 package then uninstalled all old drivers with it then reinstalled the software of audigy 4 pro. Then reinstalled my driver set. Do used driver cleaner before installing the driver set.

I have Vista on dvd but using XP currently(I'm not so much into dual booting). I'll report back to you if I go back to Vista and try these out.

okay i tried .03 version and it still doesn't get a COMPLETE installation... setup has detected the driver and i have the sound.... but it doesnt install rest after that.. like creative console?? OMG!!!!!!!!!

Yes You need to either reinstalled or reinstalled PFMOD.DLL from my filefront site.

Ok, I finally got the new drivers installed and working with the A4 softmod and new pfmod.dll and still get an error on the EQ. Error is out of memory and if i click ok i get the EQ box up and it's empty and all i can do is click ok or cancel. But no EQ. I have never seen this error before.

I don't think the A4 mod would work with xfi drivers You might have reinstalled your audigy software make eq work. How did you get work a4 mod? hehe I didn't get give perisson mess with my drivers

OK, I've tried 02 and 03 release, but none seems to work on my system (Audigy @ WinXP). I get the I-001 error and ignore it, reboot the machine and all the devices are shown in the CP but NO sound at all... Friggin frustrating...

Edit: Ha ha, I've solved the "issue" - the output was set to "digital only"... It works!

Audigy 1 here.

Actually Robert, I didn't touch a thing and just followed your instructions by not using the driver cleaner and un-installed the v3.63.03d and installed the new xfi driver. It just leaves the EQ not working even with the replaced pfmod.dll.

So you don't have as much work left as you thought.

With a nice clear sound like this I can live without the EQ for awhile.

Anyone who wants to know about the difference in sound quality, It's like the difference between moonshine and top shelf.

please when you thing will be possible to use your pax driver for X fi xtreme audio ...for me will be enough if i can use your moded driver to decode optical audio input to spid in from my xbox 360 or old xbox and send it to analog genius 5.1 driver ...if you know any way haw to make it with original driver please somebody help me ... thanks
