Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Robert,
Tried to install new PCI-E driver 2.55 but would not detect my card. Your 2.50 did and had worked fine. Could you please tell me what to do? I have a HP Pavillion with PCI-E XFI Extreme Audio. I had sent the id's previously and you had put them in your install list for 2.50!

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Thanks for the update.

I have tried to update my X-Fi Platinum driver to 2.18.0008 before, but my E-MU 1212M PCI driver (V2.1 patchmix & driver)seems conflict with it and will not work afterwards. So I need to change back to 2.18.0004.

Will the PAX X-FI OS Driver V6.30 solve the driver conflict with X-Fi and E-MU soundcard? Thanks.

@Robert McClelland
if you only add vendor id to Support.cab and wdma_emu.inf the drivers install correctly but without proper .dat file (both card id and driver version is important) it doesn't work

So card ID is present somewhere inside .dat file? Maybe the earlier 0930w.dat is wrong file for me then... How to find ID inside that file?

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Crap. Well... maybe card is really broken. I remember that I've installed it. It worked until few system reboots. Then she start showing "Error 10" in Windows (device cannot start). Right after that I've switched Vista SP1 to XP SP2 and card work 1 or 2 times and again after few system reboots "Error 10" showed up. Then I wasn't able to run in with any driver. It install properly but the device cannot start. Card has label on the backside with model number SB0460 and this is XtremeMusic.
Super weird problems

Hi! I'm from Indonesia, is this driver supports XFi Extreme Audio Card (SB0790)?
If not support, whether you have the drivers for this card?

I lost the CD driver and I already download from the official website, but I do not find a EQ and the volume panel. Just the driver only. Can you help me?

Sorry if my english is bad. Thank you very much!!

Hi Robert,
yesterday I tried to install the driver that you created [PAX PCI XFI AND AUDIGY V6.25], but it seems your driver do not support my X-Fi Extreme Audio Card (SB0790). Can you provide this driver for me?

Just tried the PAX PCI XFI OS V6.30.
Still conflict with E-MU 1212M PCI driver...
That means after installing the X-Fi latest driver, the E-MU driver will not get working (This device cannot start. (Code 10))

If I reinstall the E-MU driver, then both will not get working...(Both of them will show :This device cannot start. (Code 10) in the device manager afterwards)

AW: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Can you make a Software-Suite for X-Fi Titanium (PCIe)?
The existing one isn't working...

Uh...Hi Robert....I downloaded your drivers. They sound really good!

But do they support Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive? I have an X-fi Fatal1ty Pro and I can't get the tabs to show on Windows Vista X86...

I would really like to hook up my 5.1 to my computer so I can get surround sound on my games without having to buy a new set of speakers.

Thanks!
