Thanks!
I think you have buy DDL from creative.

Oh...okay. I thought I heard somewhere your drivers had DDL... didn't Daniel-K's have it? I've never tried those though...they're too old...

Anyways...I can't get the decoder tab to show either...is that because I have a fatal1ty?

??? Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Hi,
I Have Vista pre-loaded sony vaio VGN-N38E laptop. I installed XP recently and now system is in dual boot mode. But the sound card and modem drivers are not available. The sound card is "Realtek High Definition Audio" and modem is "HDAUDIO SoftV92 Data Fax Modem with SmartCP". Please let me know from where I get these device drivers.

Regards,
Binu

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Great drivers

Works fantastically on vista and windows 7 (with a slight exception) for my x-fi music. The bass really is - 'PERFECT'

Ive just downloaded the beta of windows 7, ver 7000.. these 6.30 drivers install brilliantly and work flawlessly with windows 7 using the x-fi music. So any windows 7 (build 7000) users go ahead and give em a go. The is one minor problem, well there has to be, its a beta os.. The centre and rear speakers are detected and play thru the console, however Cmss-3d doesnt pick them up resulting in only the front two speakers playing. Not a big loss if you only use 2 speakers or headphones. Creatives latest drivers iron this problem out. But theyre not exactly Rob moddified are they. So I'ld rather stick with headphones for now until Rob mods creatives latest drivers.

Tried installing the 5.1 surround drivers for my usb 5.1 surround card for the laptop. . After removing drivers the usual way, driver cleaner etc .. and installing these 5.1 modded drivers (first of a kind i believe) windows 7 recognises the x-fi as a usb sound card, the sound works but the x-fi console doesn't. Which renders it useless tbh. With windows 7 supporting vistas drivers by default I wondered if anybody has experienced the same using Vista and the 5.1? I'm still to try the 5.1 modded drivers on vista.

But round of applause for the drivers Rob, with Sennheiser 595 headphones, x-fi music card and the 6.30 drivers, using audio creation mode with no effects music really does sound amazing.

Thumbs up..

You need to disable your board sound.

thank you, you think its doable to add the inputs stuff in playback ? Also be able to use creative mixer ? creative did update the driver for XFI Extreme Audio PCI-Express this december but I still am "creative mixer" less, and missing the playback of "line-in, mic, spdif-in" that is why i cant hear them.

thank you for your work.

oki, enjoy your movie. As for the driver, im sure its because there are no line-in, mic and spdif-in in the playback part of windows mixer. Someone had the similar problem and fixed it by installing old driver. (My driver are not old enough to be able to do the same)

I think we only need to make "line-in, mic, spdif-in" available in the playback part to be able to fix it.

Has anyone tried to install X-Fi notebook on Windows 7 beta 1? I would like to have CMSS3D and Crystalizer but in audio console it looks like those functions are somewhat disabled (there is no trace of them).

Hi Robert,

I installed your X-fi PCI Express v2.50 they work perfect, but it doesn't come with working software? and no DTS tabs or anything, will this be update or do i have a crappy soundcard as it says in your signature.

CMSS-3D features? DTS? I'm missing so much, do i install original software from CD then install your driver pack?

I have Creative Xtreme Audio soundcard, do i have a bad card?
