How did you get it working without modifying the files? Vista and Windows 7 only 2 channel works.

Back, upload finished: http://nuja.free.fr/SBXAudioPCIe.rar
Its the XFI Extreme Audio PCI-Express driver set coming with the OEM version of the soundcard for xp 'maybe vista: dont know dont have vista). Robert do you know how to set the delay of recording/monitoring ? The SPDIF-in is working but with a bit of delay making video and sound a bit out of sync.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

I am more thinking --> ASUS Xonar DX Soundcard, they have their own EAX technology

If there audio works like this then i won't have a driver issue or EAX issue inside Windows Vista or Windows 7 am i right?

Hmm, can't install the newest PAX Audigy-series drivers, says that compatible device is not found even though I have Audigy 2 ZS....

I know it has something to do with only one missing text line from setup files but I dunno what to do with it :P

Nuja... I have been having the exact same problems. With a Toslink (SPDIF) input connected, when my source is set to Stereo everything works fine. As soon as I change my source (xbox 360) to Dolby Digital 5.1, the speakers start to ommit a loud squeal until I turn it back to stereo.

I am thinking about getting rid of the Extreme Audio PCI-E, and buying a X-Fi Titanium PCI-E. Does anybody know if it works better or at least will allow for Digital 5.1 input with out any issues?

Thanks

I dual booted to Vista x64 and all is well. Not sure why it won't work in XP, but the regular drivers are working ok.

Thanks for the great work!

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Hello!

I'm new user here. At the beginning I want to say sorry- I don't have enough time to read all the posts in this topic

I came here with problem. I'm user of X-Fi Xtreme Audio. I work/play on notebook (Windows Vista 32bit) with Xpress Card slot, so I don't have other option of sound card. I'm not so happy with my sound. I would like to ask- can I install modded driver, and enjoy more options?

I uninstalled orginal Creative drivers, and I tried to install Pax v1.01 and Pax v2.55, but it doesn't work It shows me:

Quote:
Setup is unable to detect supported product on your system. Please ensure that your product is propertly installed before running this Setup program.

Setup will exit
Is any chance to help me? Im so sad I can't do it alone. I hope you will find some free time to help me

Please, reply on this message so fast as you can.

tidididi, Poland.

Is any chance to help me? Im so sad I can't do it alone. I hope you will find some free time to help me

Please, reply on this message so fast as you can.
