Hey Robert, I am also needing drivers for Vista64. I'm going for a dual boot for awhile because a friend gave me a vista64 ultimate key. Woot!

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

2 small problems.. While installing the Windows 7 x-fi full lite drivers, one of those 101 errors appeared when trying to install Dolby. So i'm not sure if it's properly installed. How do I find out?

Also, Even with these new drivers, 5.1 is only working when the source is 5.1. I cant get Cmss-3d to work using surround sound in games, or in music. Tried winamp, creative media source player. Is cmss-3d supposed to work with these drivers?

Apart from those issues, these bloody well sound marvelous! Good work Robert. I need Cmss-3d working for my 5.1 setup.. any ideas? Thanks.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

HI Robert,

OK, I've also been trying to follow your fast progress, and first let me say thank you for all your hard work!

Second, are any of your driver packs set up to install drivers for the X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook PCI express card? I've tried a few packages, but none of them ever worked for Vista X64.

Will your new 6.35 or 6.45 have support for the card? I will be willing to bug test
Thanks!

Hi Robert McClelland, u think bgear b-enspirer is better than extreme audio pci-e ? no crackle ? bugfree ? any modded driver ? no eax 3/5 can be a problem for game ? (i dont use to activate on extreme audio pci-e (eax 4)n does that mean that i never used it ?) can a modded driver allow the use of eax 4/5 with the bgear sound card ?

Yes I think so Because it does have fiber in and out it does support eax 2.0 you always can send back if you don't like it.
