... Any Chance to use one of your drivers with windows 7 ??

For Windows 7 - didn't find any set that supports Audigy2

For Vista and XP - i use your PAX Set and use to works great - much better than the original creative set.

Thanks a lot for your help.
NP I will have to look in to it I'm taking my time tuneup drivers very good So far they sound good. Once I get XFI Sets perfect even for windows 7 I spend more time to see if can get the installer to work with audigy 2 on win 7 you might have become my tester since I don't have audigy card anymore. By thanks folkes this most reply thread I seen for helping you folkes out We just reach 1500 reply thread woot!

Hey Rob, I added you on MSN but I managed to solve the problem. For some reason, I had to format the HDD 3 times and try to install in 3 different slots. Unfortunately, your drivers did not want to install no matter what i did . Daniel's modified ISO installed for some reason . I want to upgrade the audio drivers and install some YOUPAX ones but I am afraid because CMS will give me a message saying "audio drivers for your product" not detected.

Question is...

1. Do I leave it like this, working, better sound than KX, but a 2007 ISO disc has been used.
2. Force install better ones, from you .

Any advice?

Thanks a lot ... will wait for this.

Btw, i'm having another problem here.

I just formated the computer again, to put a new HD and other stuff. Well, Using Right now Windows Vista X64 SP1.

Can't get your latest software to work right.

Driver install's OK. But setup reports a previous and most updated Creative Console is already on the system ( that's not true it's a clean setup ). And abort this part. It also aborts Surround Mixer, and THX - saying something about erros.

How am i supposed to setup it right ?

Creative Audigy 2 D000
Windows Vista X64 SP1 + Updates
Mobo Gigabyte: Ga-P35-DS3 rev 2.0 + Core2Duo E6700 @ 3.2GHz - 4 GB RAM.

Thanks a lot

Hey Rob,

Yes I uninstalled the audio properly and for some reason, after I install yours, media source says audio for this hardware is not installed. Or something like that. I have to use Daniel's drivers.

They have such a metalic sound in my Sennheiser headset .

Can't wait for that mate. I tried updating my driver because the metallic sound was getting annoying and now my EAX Advanced EQ's don't work anymore . I hate CREATIVE! The console was giving me a bit of flexibility for bass and treble and mids. Great, remove the drivers...try again....

P.S. : I am trying the 6.35RC1 ones.

P.S. 2: My whole creative crashed now....I will throw this card in the bin.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Just another try ...

I've formated the PC again - so clean install - I mean no drivers, at all...

Windows Vista X64 SP1 + Updates from Feb 09.

My Computer Specs as follow.

GigaByte GA-P35-DS3 Rev 2.0 ICH9
Core2Duo 6700@ 3.2 GHz
4 GB RAM
RAID0: 2x250 GB Seagate
Audigy 2 [D000]

PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0004&SUBSYS_10021102&REV_04
PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0004&SUBSYS_10021102
PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0004&CC_040100
PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0004&CC_0401

Well, installed windows + updates ( custom DVD )

First install Intel INF Update

OK - Everything looks good until now.

Setup Audigy 6.35RC1 Set of drivers.

After 2 screens saying about WHQL issue ( that i think its normal ) - i Got a screen saying that a newer version of creative audio console already exist on the system so setup will abort.

1 - I Click abort to Audio Console, it moves to next setup
2 - Surround Mixer Setup starts ... in the middle of the program another error ( can't install or something ... and aborts two ). It moves to next setup
3 - THX console - well it starts the setup, and abort saying the 1001 Error - and vuala no setup either. It cancel.

Well, It setup a Audio Console. The driver is Working fine, as system reports it works. And the sound come from 5.1 setup - CMMS and CMMS2 also works from menu selection in audio console. But no other setup works.

If i try to run any of the installer without running your main setup, like setup the THX - it says it can't find iKernel.exe - the other setups don't even start - it says something about installer error or method call.

- I've download twice the file - so i'm sure no corrupted downloads.

Both 6.35RC1 and 6.35 give me errors.
PAX drivers used to work very well on Vista 32 Bits - and better on Windows XP converting it to Audigy 4 ... with all that consoles.

First time on Vista X64.
Btw, add you to MSN - but i think will be hard to talk to you ... I'm in Brazil - (GMT-3) Day here - night there ... :P

Sorry for bad english and Keep Up the Great Work.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Getting this for the PAX_PCI_XFI_OS_V6.50_Fullon package. Getting Error I-001. When I look it up in the install.log this is what it gives.

[THX Console]
GUID={CAAE8EC2-2340-4D6E-A74D-07814046A11B}
Error=I-001 C:\Documents and Settings\Omikron\Desktop\PAX_PCI_XFI_OS_V6.50_Full on\CTShared\WinSys not found.

I have confirmed this doesn't exist. I tried downloading the Lite version too just in case it was in that one and it wasn't, both are missing it.

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Could someone who already has PAX_PCI_Audigy_OS_V6.35_RC1 please upload it to a decent site like rapidshare/megaupload? Filefont is so bad it's almost as if the servers are hosted on Spectrums!

I also need the latest software package for XP/Audigy 2 PCI. That'd be awesome!
