Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

i have an audigy SE
Device ID: PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0007&SUBSYS_100A1102&REV_00\4&1F7 DBC9F&0&20F0

and was wondering which driver set i should use, i tried both the audigy set and the xifi set and neither would install properly, at the moment im using pax xifi xtreme audio 2.0 forced install from the dev manager(uses p17 like the normal SE drivers) but i would like to have the eax console and whatnot

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Brand new Creative X-FI Xtreme Gamer Fata1ity Professional Series isn’t detected in V - Tech Support Forum

This might explain why my card doesn't work. And my motherboard apparently has inherent issues with X-fi cards with different BIOS versions. I'll try another card I guess, returned the other one.

AW: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Hi Robert at First, I Have got Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro but I wanna use that better Software Suite from X-Fi Fatality. Now when I install your 6.45 Audigy Drivers for example, can I install the Whole X-Fi Software Suite or not. How can get this to work I mean I wanna to use X-Fi Setup-CD Software+Drivers with some Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro Sound Chip. How can I make to think X-Fi Software Suite that I have X-Fi Soundcard and not Audigy 2 ZS Soundcard. How can Install X-Fi Drivers on mine Audigy 2 ZS to be able to use that wonderfull X-Fi Software Suite with 24 Bit Crysatlizer and all that. Thank you for your hard Working !!!

Re: Vista and XP Driver Support for Audigy, Xtreme Audio, and Xfi cards

Hello everyone
I'm new here, but i see that is the place where i can solve my problem (sorry for my english - I'm from Poland )
I just bought a Genius 5005 speakers and a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Gold (SB0350).
I have a problem with redirecting the bass. When I'm enabling the bass redirection in speaker settings, the bass speaker is starting to play, but so quiet that it is hardly to hear it (without redirection the bass speaker isn't working). I've tried all the frequencies (BTW. i heard that 120Hz i the right value, is that right?) and nothing.
I saw on the screens somewhere in the internet that there is under the "Bass redirection" a "Subwoofer gain" checkbox which i don't have.
Maybe the problem is in the wrong way of installing the drivers and software.
I've installed "PAX_PCI_Audigy_OS_V6.25" and then "Pax Audigy Software Suite Summer Edition 2008" from Audigy4/Audio/setup/setup.exe.
Everything with the deafult values (except of setting the 5.1 speakers option), just clicking Next, Next...
Oh, my OS is a Win XP with SP3.
Please help me, becouse i don't know waht to do.
Thenks and have a nice day

I wasn't debating that . RS is just another option for people to choose. There is no speed limit on RS if I set the downloads to use my BW .

Thank you
But wich is the priority of installing the drivers? I read somewhere that you wrote to someone that the first to install are the drivers from AX_PCI_Audigy_OS_V6.25 (is that right? if yes is it the latest driver?) and then i should install Audigy4/Audio/Setup/Setup.exe. It was written not to install drivers from "...Audio Software Suite...". Can you give me a short solution what and in wich priority i have to install? I'm a very new user of this soundcard and drivers and my knowledge about it is almost zero.
Sorry for interruptuing you, and taking your precious time, but i cannot find anywhere answers for my questions. Once again - thank you
